Town of Swanzey Solid Waste Facility Operator

The Town of Swanzey, NH, is accepting applications for the position for Solid Waste Facility Operator.  This a part time position at the Town’s Recycling Center/Transfer Station assisting and participating in the operations of the facility as well as processing recyclables and accepting other solid waste.   Desired skills and experience include knowledge of municipal solid waste and recycling. Experience in operating mechanical / motorized equipment used in solid waste operations, and the ability to use a bobcat skid steer a plus!  Solid waste experience may be waived for the ideal candidate.  Must be able to perform physical tasks and possess good communicative and inter-personal skills with co-workers and the public.  In addition, working Saturdays (the center’s busiest day) is required.

Transfer Station Assistant Manager

Town of Dunbarton seeks a part-time Assistant Manager for the Transfer Station.  Applicants must have a CDL-B license (roll-off experience a plus), be at least 18 years old, able to lift 75 lbs., work in a fast paced environment, operate related recycling equipment and possess mechanical ability.  Saturdays are mandatory.  Starting pay is $14-$16/hr. depending on experience.

Miscellaneous

The town of Needham, Ma.  has 39 new 36″ x 72″ commercial grade white table tops to donate to a charitable organization or school. The table tops retail over $700 each. They do not come with legs, these will need to be purchased for $110 each set.
